Sophia’s Elite Pitching School
Sophia’s Lights Out Pitching School is an application-only, two-week immersive training experience designed for pitchers who are serious about developing at a high level. This is not a traditional camp or clinic. Every aspect of the program is intentionally structured to provide individualized instruction, measurable development, and a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to become a more complete pitcher.
Athletes train four days per week for two consecutive weeks, totaling 24 hours of high-level instruction. With only four pitchers accepted into each session, every athlete receives constant coaching, individualized adjustments, and detailed feedback throughout every phase of training.
The goal of this program is not simply to throw harder or learn a new pitch. It is to build the movement quality, mechanical efficiency, physical capacity, and competitive mindset that allow pitchers to perform consistently and continue developing long after the program concludes.
Who This Program Is For
The inaugural session of Sophia’s Lights Out Pitching Class is designed specifically for advanced and highly motivated pitchers who are ready for an intensive learning environment.
Because instruction is individualized and the curriculum moves at an accelerated pace, athletes should already possess a strong foundation of pitching fundamentals and demonstrate a commitment to improving outside of scheduled training.
As the program continues to grow, additional Pitching School sessions will be offered for different age groups and experience levels. The first session, however, is intentionally reserved for higher-level athletes who are prepared for the demands of an elite development program.
The Application Process
Admission into Sophia’s Lights Out Pitching Class is by application only.
The application process allows each athlete to be evaluated before acceptance, ensuring the program is the right fit for both the pitcher and the curriculum. Rather than accepting athletes on a first-come, first-served basis, every application is reviewed individually.
To be considered, athletes must complete:
- A Pitching School application and questionnaire
- A pitching video at least 60 seconds in length, submitted via text message
- Review and approval by Sophia before enrollment
The video evaluation provides insight into each athlete's current mechanics, movement patterns, and overall skill level. This allows training to be individualized before the first day of Pitching School and helps ensure every pitcher enters an environment where they can maximize their development.
Completion of the application does not guarantee admission. Each athlete is personally reviewed before acceptance into the program.
Why an Application?
Elite development requires more than simply showing up to train.
Pitching School is intentionally designed as a small-group learning environment where every athlete receives individualized instruction, consistent feedback, and daily adjustments. Maintaining a high standard for admission ensures that each pitcher can fully participate in the pace, expectations, and level of instruction provided throughout the two-week experience.
The application process also allows Sophia to understand each athlete's goals, competitive background, and areas for development before training begins, creating a more personalized experience from day one.
Tuition
Regular Tuition: $1,449

Athletes who complete their application and are accepted before August 1st qualify for the early enrollment rate.
Program Commitment
Over the course of two weeks, pitchers complete:
To put that into perspective, a pitcher taking one 30-minute lesson each week would need nearly an entire year of weekly lessons to equal the amount of instruction provided during Pitching School.
The difference isn't simply the number of hours—it's the consistency. Daily repetition, immediate coaching, continual adjustments, and progressive learning create an environment where athletes can build habits, retain information, and accelerate development far beyond what is typically possible through traditional weekly lessons.
